As co-founder and Head Brewer, Zech Laughbaum will be responsible for the overall operation of the brew house and cellar. Zech comes from a background rooted in brewing quality award winning beer and never compromising as a Quality Control Manager for Fat Head’s Brewery. Zech will apply his brewing science background to create only world class beer that will separate his brewery from that of the competition.

Zech has a successful background of management experience in running quality control departments, as well as having a high volume production brewing schedule, cellar work, packaging, and operations.

Zech brings very unique industry experience and has an outstanding reputation within the brewing community. He provides consultation services for multiple breweries and helps solve analytical and microbiological issues. The brewing community is unique in that everyone has strong ties and is always willing to lend a helping hand when another brewery needs anything. Laughing Bomb Brewery wants to continue that legacy because we strongly feel it is truly what makes being an independent craft brewery special.
